Synopsis:
 

Life partners & city slickers Dom and Cole have it all; a great relationship, a luxurious lifestyle and now they are about to become adoptive parents to a beautiful baby boy. With responsibility looming, they fly to remote rural Italy for one final, no expense spared holiday before the realities of family life kick in.

But living la dolce vita soon turns into a veritable nightmare as their inability to speak Italian and all-round Yankee naivety lead to a series of increasingly bizarre misunderstandings that threaten to derail everything they have worked so hard to build.

I Don’t Understand You premiered at SXSW 2024 and its wild combination of dark comedy, satire and horror-comedy received rapt reviews.
