Synopsis:
 

The improbably named Reality Winner (Emilia Jones) is a brilliant young misfit from a Texas border town who, inspired by her equally maverick father (Zach Galifianakis), mother (Connie Britton) and sister (Kathryn Newton), finds her keen sense of right and wrong tested to the limits while working for US intelligence.

A sarcastic, gun-lovin’, vegan, yoga and CrossFit fanatic, self-taught in Pashto and Dari, Reality becomes an unconventional whistleblower who ends up being prosecuted for exposing Russia’s hacking of the 2016 election. Some called her a traitor, some called her a hero but the reality, as is often the case, was far more interesting than that.

At once heart-warming and hard-hitting, threaded with humour and wit, Winner features stellar performances from all five of its central cast, and is a compelling, delightful hymn to people who have conviction and are willing to sacrifice to prove it.
