Synopsis:
 

When cantankerous aristocrat Basil "Banger" Peyton-Crumbe dies in a pheasant shooting accident, he is gobsmacked to find himself reborn…as a pheasant. By some cosmic joke the Hunter has now become the Hunted. Worse, his loathsome, conniving younger brother and truly awful wife have taken over the country manor and are planning to rid it of all the birds, including him.

 

As Banger comes to terms with his newfound existence, he makes a whole host of new friends, feathered and furry, and in the process finally learns the meaning of co-operation and care.  

He also begins to suspect that his death wasn’t an “accident” at all. Now with the help of his Plucky granddaughter and loyal but deeply eccentric dogs, he must save the flock, and himself, from being served up for dinner!
