Synopsis:

October 31st. Halloween. The not-so-distant future. Three years since a plague wiped humans from the face of the planet. All except for 16-year-old ‘Pumpkin’. The last girl left on earth.

Pumpkin (Milly Shapiro) is a teenage girl like any other, craving company, connection and the validation of her friends. But fate has decreed that she must walk alone, scavenging her once picturesque, now deserted suburban neighborhood for vital supplies and making ends meet from the remnants of a lost world.

Halloween is her favorite night of the year, and she is determined to make the best of it. She assembles candy cane, firecrackers, Jack-o'-lanterns and fashions the ultimate haunted house party, ready for any Trick Or Treaters she desperately hopes will come by. She issues an open invitation over her radio, just in case there is anyone left to hear it. Careful what you wish for…

From the still blackness of the night, a ghoulish family of raiders – led by the seductive, vengeful Thalia (Shannyn Sossamon), and surviving on home-brewed medicine and with a ravenous appetite for mayhem – are drawn like moths to a flame to the house, where they quickly make themselves at home.

But they picked the wrong house and the wrong girl. And their invasion is just the spark Pumpkin needs to find her courage, to tool up, fight back and become: The Hallowarrior.

From the inspired mind of outstanding genre filmmaker Ben Sottak comes a full-bore, action-packed siege movie – lovingly referential, laced with humour and heart, and guaranteed to entice and thrill audiences everywhere.gly referential, laced with humour and heart, and guaranteed to entice and thrill audiences everywhere.
